The USCG Barque Eagle docked on River Street in Savannah for the weekend, and my parents and I took my nephew Jack to check it out. Although it was super hot, the trip was worth it. The USCG boat is 295 feet long, has three masts, and dates back to the 19th century. Today, the boat is used to train future Coast Guard officers and has a crew of 220, including 150 USCG cadets.
